The South African Police 2nd Pattern Camouflage, introduced in the 1970s, was an updated version of the 1st Pattern, designed for enhanced concealment in urban and rural environments. Retaining the foliage motif with modified colors and fabric, it became standard for SAP units, including specialized forces like the Special Task Force, until the reorganization into the South African Police Service (SAPS) and their discontinuation of camouflage uniforms in 2004.
These pants feature two waist pockets, one front pocket, one rear pocket and two cargo pockets. Button-up waist and fly.
